ConGlomeration 2011 Brings Noted Authors, Artists and Game Designers to Louisville for Easter Weekend

ConGlomeration, Louisville's own multimedia science fiction and fantasy convention, brings its family-friendly brand of organized geekery to Easter Weekend, from noon on Friday, April 22 through 2pm Sunday, April 24. For a mere $40, you can enjoy 50 uninterrupted hours of games, costumes, panel discussions, crafts, movies, music and uncategorizable fun.

Want specifics? How about a lineup of local and national authors headlined by fan-favorite novelist, screenwriter and comic book scribe Peter David, who wrote episodes of Babylon 5, oversaw the most popular decade of Incredible Hulk comics in history, and created the Star Trek: New Frontier book series.

Like games? ConGlomeration will debut a never-before-seen wargame developed and demonstrated by the legendary Andy Chambers, the lead writer of the hit video game Starcraft II and longtime developer of Warhammer 40,000 miniature combat series. Top that off with an acclaimed art show led by noted illustrator Kristin Kest, whose work has graced the covers of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction.

Admission to ConGlomeration is $40 for an all-weekend pass or $30 for a single day. The Crowne Plaza Louisville Hotel and Conference Center, our host venue, is located at 830 Philips Lane, Louisville, KY 40209.
