Mike Linnig’s Famous Seafood and Entertainment Tents hosts it’s annual KARAOKE CONTEST with a $1,000 Grand Prize to the Adult Division Winner!

*** Age Divisions ***

Children 12 and under Grand Prize: $50
Teens 13 to 18: Grand Prize: $100
Adults 19 and over Grand Prize: $1,000

*** Registration Information ***

Daily Registration for Children and Teen Division begins at 6:00pm. Daily Registration for Adult Division begins at 7:00pm.

Registration ends when maximum number is reached for that division for that dayfs contest.

If you are bringing your own CD please arrive by 5:30pm (Children/Teens) or 6:30pm (Adults) to turn in and get music approved (song must be in karaoke songbook per rules.)

*** Judging Information ***

ENTERTAINMENT VALUE is HALF of your score. Soc we suggest you pick a song that you can really show off your ability to entertain a crowd because this is HALF of your score! Bring friends to cheer you on!!!

No Fees are involved to participate.

You must be a singer of amateur status, one in which singing is not your primary source of income. Scores, placement (other than placement of top winners announced) and judgesf comments will not be released.

If you qualify to compete in the FINAL ROUNDS of competition you will be competing on 2 nights. Please note: you will need to sing a DIFFERENT song each night. So be sure you are practicing 2 different songs!

Mike Linnig’s is proud to be celebrating their 16th year at the Kentucky State Fair! You will find a tropical atmosphere and high energy entertainment. There will also be a Tiki Hut with Budweiser on tap along with colorful Frozen Island Drinks.
