What is it about a woman that does it for you, attracts you to her, and quite possibly makes you want to fight her like a man?
When I was a younger man I used to crave the nightlife, the booze, and women like it were my fix, and my veins were raised and popping, trying to pump that blood pressure thru their small confines. It kept me out at all hours, long after the sun had retreated, and the normal working class had fast fallen asleep. The drink oiled my pistons, and the women quenched my sexual thirst. Before entertainment as we know it, what did we all do? Modern times have brought about a plethora of entertaining options to help us escape from our harsh schedules, and our mundane and meaningless lives. Getting liquored up and pulling down the panties of a young and supple woman, feeling the numbness that overcomes us when brown bourbon alcohol has meshed with ginger ale, and smelling the sweet perfumes and scented lotions on the skin of a one night lover's body as it's pressed against yours, seconds before penile impact. Such feelings as these, scents that captivate and entangle, sounds of pleasurable and sexual moaning, coupled with the instinctual hunger for more are easily as addictive as any drug.
What is it about a man that makes him feel whole when with a woman, but weak and powerless when he can't tell her to leave because the relationship that they once had in the beginning has become a distant glimmer in the distance, fading, flickering, and fizzling out like a candle wick that's reached its final destination? Why is it that it all must change, that the fun, frills, and excitement that once buttered your bread has to be replaced by the need to conform, define, and change all that once made you strong in the beginning for an eventful place among the shelf along with the rest of those that have this sense of urgency to settle down?
Exposed brick alleys are a bitch to drive down in your car, but beautiful when strolling thru them on foot, and being caught in the cold autumn rain is a royal pain in the ass when you're trying to get the groceries in, but pleasant as it's heard outside on the rooftop while you've no place to be other than wrapped up in a blanket beside the one that makes your heart skip. The same can be said for all of life for that matter. Often the things that made us once smile, that made us happy once, and the cute daily rituals of our lovers can become the irritating, infuriating, and painful things to watch that we cannot stand.
