There are 15 days of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, and in addition to the equestrian competitions there are activities, entertainment opportunities and attractions. To enjoy these non-competition activities you can get a Grounds Pass for $25  each day. Grounds Pass tickets allow entry to the games for the selected day of purchase but they do not grant access to competition venues or competition venue seating. Day nine, Oct.3: At 1 p.m. the eventing jumping competition begins at Outdoor Stadium, the last phase of eventing three day. Germany’s Michael Jung and La Biosthetique-Sam FBW lead the individual standings. William Fox-Pitt and his British teammates hold a narrow lead in the team standings. The United States team is in second place and Canada third. An awards ceremony will follow the competition. Tickets are still available starting at $112.50.
Over at the Equine Village many breed organizations and horse trainers will be giving demonstrations throughout the day. Check out the American Morgan Horse Association at noon, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association at 2 p.m. and Mario Contreras (a trainer of Andalusion horses) at 5 p.m.
