A beautiful young lady, a handsome young man, and a mouse king all can be found in Louisville Ballet's performace of The Brown-Foreman Nutcracker, which opens on Saturday.
The Brown-Foreman Nutcracker will take place on Dec. 4, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Matinee shows will occur on Dec. 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 1:30 p.m. each day. All performances will go on at Whitney Hall in the Kentucy Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Tickets range in price from $25-$95, depending on the seat. All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, Kentucky Center website

Louisville Ballet is returning The Nutcracker back to the stage in time for Christmas. The Nutcracker features a girl who receives a nutcracker, carved like a person, for Christmas. The girl will soon find herself literally shrinking into a world that includes a mouse king and a handsome prince.
Following Nutcracker, the Louisville Ballet will present Coppelia. The production will take place in March 2011. More information on other holiday shows can be found in this link.
