For the first time since 2002, the Cincinnati Reds will open the baseball season with an exhibition game versus the Toronto Blue Jays at Louisville Slugger Field on Saturday, April 2 at 1:05 p.m. Prices for this game range from a $10 lawn ticket to a $20 reserved seat.The Bats open their season at home Thursday, April 7 versus the Ottawa Lynx, Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Post-game fireworks and a schedule magnet giveaway to all fans along with Budweiser’s “Game Time Happy Hour” and pre-game parachuters will highlight Opening Night. Ticket prices for all regular season games, excluding Thunder, range from $5-9.
A pre-game concert by country music star Katrina Elam will highlight Thunder Over Louisville festivities at Slugger Field on Saturday, April 23. The concert will begin at 1:15 p.m. while the Bats take on West Division rival Columbus Clippers at 4:15 p.m. Thunder tickets range in price from a $20 lawn seat to $30 bleacher or left field reserved seats. Thunder fireworks will be shot over the Second Street Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m.
