GINA for Missing Persons”, the internationally acclaimed concert series to raise awareness for those who go missing every year, announces the band “CLEMENTINE” will headline 19 shows during The Squeaky Wheel Tour 2007, Oct 17-Nov 4, 2007. Also as part of the tour, Louisville's own Pure South takes the stage with country vets Diamond Rio on October 25 at Fourth Street Live. Showtime is 6pm.
This worldwide tour will feature several hundred missing people including local missing. They will be profiled by 100’s of artists performing in over 300 events throughout the 50 states and twelve countries. The focus of the events is to gain attention for 100’s of missing people in an effort to bring at least ONE home.
Clementine makes a stop in Madison, Indiana at the Electric Lady on November 2 honoring Gina Bos, who disappeared from Lincoln, NE seven years earlier. The last official day of the tour will be held in Dallas, TX on Gina’s birthday-November 4th. The 19-day tour is the creation of her sister, Clementine member-Jannel Rap. GINA is producing a reality series entitled “FINDING GINA”. This 22 week series will follow the band “CLEMENTINE” as they headline the Squeaky Wheel tour and show their work with the families of the missing. Also on the Madison bill are Rusty Bladen, the Jimmy Davis Band, Audible Point and the great SameSoul.
Clementine member and founder of the Squeaky Wheel Tour Jannel Rap’s heartache became a fight to gain attention for her sister causing her to realize she was not alone. Hundreds of thousands of families had the same fight. Their loved ones simply vanished with no media hook. She had to do something to change that. SWT is held every year at this time. Clementine and GINA are on mission to: gain as much attention as possible; web cast every event, film: press conferences, families of the missing and their stories and of course other SWT artists for the NEW Reality TV Series “Finding Gina”.
