Though choices are few, look at this weekend's limited choices as a chance to try something new!
The holiday is a great time to expand your horizons into some ethnic restaurants you perhaps haven't tried before. Many ethnicities do not celebrate Christmas and therefore have no reason to be closed! (Note: This is certainly not the case for my favorite, Mexican restaurants. I attempted to visit both Santa Fe and Lolita's yesterday for lunch, only to find out that they were already closed in order to start celebrating Navidad.) Here's a few places, however, that are open this weekend and certainly won't disappoint.
A few of my favorite restaurants will be open on Christmas Eve for brunch offering a great start to your holiday weekend. These include Harvest and Hillbilly Tea . If you plan on visiting either of these restaurants that day, a reservation will probably be a good idea.
Most of all - be safe and enjoy this time with those close to you.
