The Arabian Horse Celebration has announced it has chosen to have its Inaugural Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Exposition Center on September 19-22, 2012. The fiery and brilliant Arabian horse breed will be showcased throughout this event. The Arabian is considered the oldest known breed of horse.
The Arabian Horse Celebration will feature an Arabian Horse Show with 101 classes, more than 500 vendors and exhibitors, and an open area for the public to interact with stallions and their owners and trainers.
The non-profit Arabian Horse Celebration team, based out of Scottsdale, Arizona, is comprised of owners, breeders, trainers, amateurs, professionals, and lovers of the Arabian horses. The expo is expected to attract 25,000 attendees and support charities such as Angel Heart Farm, a therapeutic riding school for critically ill children.
Once again this confirms Kentucky as the true "Horse Capital of the World" as more and more of some of the biggest equestrian events choose to have their events in the state. Apassionata , the big European Equine Extravaganza coming to Louisville in April, has also chosen Louisville, Kentucky for its first ever show in the United States because it is considered the place for equestrian events due to its rich equestrian history. It goes without saying the Kentucky Derby, Oaks, Rolex Kentucky, The Kentucky Reining Cup, The World Equestrian Games, The World Championship Saddlebred Show, are just a few of the biggest equestrian events held in Kentucky that make the state the place to be for horses.
