[1] This upcoming Saturday, the 6th Annual Kinfolks Soul Food Festival makes yet another stop in Louisville, KY. The Waterfront Park will be engulfed with delicious smelling aromas of some of the tastiest soul food you ever enjoyed! If that isn't enough, grammy award winning artists will take to the stage and perform some of their classic hits. Musical artists scheduled to perform are the legendary Angela Winbush, R&B superstar Ginuwine, old school R&B crooner Jeffrey Osborne, Tevin Campbell, the very soulful Chrisette Michele, Sugarfoot's Ohio Players and contemporary jazz artist Eldredge Jackson.
The festival is presented by The Kinfolks Foundation Inc., which is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization whose main objective is to create platforms from which the general public can come and gather life changing knowledge in regards to Health & Wellness, Education, Housing, Financing, Business & Workforce development. Proceeds from the Soul Food Festival benefit underprivileged youth and young adults.
The gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for this great event start at $25 for general admission, $35 for preferred viewing, and $55 for VIP. If you don’t have any plans this Saturday, June 2nd, come to the Waterfront and hang out with your Kinfolks!
