91.9 WFPK [3] has changed their programming schedule [4]. Depending on what programs you like to listen to, this could be a positive or a negative change.
Morning host, Kyle Meredith will now be hosting "The Weekly Feed," the new music hour, on Fridays at 8 p.m. instead of Mondays.
Matt Anthony’s "Sound Clash” moves back an hour on Fridays, now running from 9 p.m. to midnight.
“World Force Reggae” is now two hours instead of one hour and moved from Fridays at 11 p.m. to Sundays from 3-5 p.m replacing the "American Routes" repeat. The original "American Routes" airing is still available on Saturday mornings from 6-8 a.m. If you are an "American Routes" fan, unless you are an early riser this is definitely a negative change since this is the only time you can listen to this program. It's also not as cohesive since "World Force Reggae" now leads into "Roots [5] and Boots" instead of "American Routes."
“Connections with Nic Harcourt” is Harcourt's new show which moves back to his original Monday night time slot at 8 p.m. from Saturdays at 6 p.m. This goes into effect on September 17th.
“Relics” with Duke Meyer moves from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. James Bickers moves into the old "Relics" slot at 9 a.m., with Sean Cannon following at noon.
If you love or hate the changes, WFPK would love hear your comments via email [6].
