Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company presents the Shakespearean treagedy MacBeth beginning Thursday.
Power, corruption, and murder run amuck in the Shakespearean tragedy MacBeth, which Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company will present beginning Thursday.
MacBeth performances will take place on Oct. 18-22 and Oct. 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. Matinee shows will go on Oct. 27 and 28 at 2 p.m. each day. All performances are to happen at the Parkside Studio at Iroquois Amphitheater, located at 1080 Amphitheater Road
Paranoia and prophecy are rampant in MacBeth. The Shakespearean tragedy features MacBeth, once a brave and loyal warrior of the king, turning his skills on others in the form of murder. Along the way, undeterred ambition leads to a greater desire for power and plenty of madness.
J. Barrett Cooper directed MacBeth, and Cooper also stars as MacBeth. Jenni Cochran also stars as Lady MacBeth, Tom Luce is Duncan, king of Scotland, Brian Hinds as Banquo, Jeremy Sapp as Macduff, and Chelsea Skalski as Lady McDuff.
Savage Rose will continue its season with The Man with the Flower in His Mouth. That show will run at Walden Theatre in November.
