Experience local music in a intimate, unique setting!
Clifton Center will host a performance by local musician Tyrone Cotton on Sunday, January 20th at 6:00pm for the first in a new series of Sunday “No-Fi” concerts, part of MINI of Louisville Live at the Clifton Center. A cash bar will be available beginning at 5:30pm. Admission is $5 and tickets can be purchased in advance at Carmichael’s Bookstore, 2720 Frankfort Avenue, online at www.cliftoncenter.org or at the door.
Inspired by the "No-Fi" Stage at the recently held Afterbeat Festival, the concert series will feature many of our region's top artists in intimate settings with little or no amplification. Some of the concerts, including Tyrone Cotton's upcoming performance, will be held in the Center's Brown-Forman Lounge, a cozy space that seats up to fifty people, and other concerts will be held in the Clifton Center's Eifler Theater, but in a very unusual manner where the audience will be seated on the stage along with the artists. The setting allows the musicians and audience to enjoy the great acoustics the theater offers, while creating a very intimate atmosphere in a very unique setting.
