The Sullivan University National Center for Hospitality Studies (NCHS) and Wellness Center (SUWC) will hold its 3rd Annual General Nutrition Awareness Week (GNAW): Eating With Spirit, Monday, Feb. 23 through Thursday Feb. 26 on Sullivan University's Main Campus, 3101 Bardstown Road in Louisville, KY.
This year’s theme, “Eating With Spirit”, is meant to provide information on the spirituality of eating and how we can all relate to food in a mindful way: through purpose, value, and meaning, with practical applications in how we treat self, others, world and God in our what and how of eating.

In addition to the seminars by assembled experts Monday, Wednesday and Thursday will be the Not-So-Fat Tuesday Wellness Fair. Exhibitors from throughout the community will be there to provide guests with nutrition awareness information, health screenings, food and drink samples, and the "Germ City" exhibit.
Germ City: Clean Hands, Healthy People is a national, science-based, traveling education program designed to improve the effectiveness and frequency of hand washing behaviors in adults and children.
The Baking & Pastry Division will deliver ‘a fresh bread-a-day’ for visitors to try during the event.
All events including seminars, wellness fair, screenings, refreshments, and the nationally recognized "Germ City" traveling exhibit are free and open to the public.
