The recently re-named Kentucky Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies (formerly the Cerebral Palsy K.I.D.S. Center) has developed a different way to get you to notice them: bribery. They are the recipients of a generously donated billboard that touts their new name and slogan. So as to not squander the opportunity, they've devised a "spot the billboard" contest to encourage interaction with the new image and, more importantly, their spanking new website.
Somewhere in Metro Louisville, you'll find this:
When you do, make a note of the location and visit them online at http://kidscenterky.org. Anybody that submits the correct location is entered to win a great $300 Lifestyle Portrait package from Vogue Visions Photograpy (see their stuff at http://www.voguevisions.com).
The timing for the contest is pretty good considering that their "Walk And Roll For Kids" fundraiser is May 16. The Kids Center has been serving families whose children have special needs since 1959. The agency provides outpatient therapy and family support services for kids with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, autism, and other developmental disabilities. The Kids Center is at 982 Eastern Parkway in the Kosair Charities Centre. The tours are great. Schedule one for yourself by calling 502.635.6397 or see them online at http://www.kidscenterky.org
