The boys of summer are eyeing the post season and they're taking advantage by hosting a special night.
In honor of the men and women who serve our community and country, the Louisville Bats are offering ALL Military, Police, Fire and Emergency Service Personnel a free field reserved ticket for the Louisville Bats’ Friday, September 11 playoff game.
Tickets for family members may be purchased by Military and Emergency Service personnel for $5 each and $1 from each ticket purchased by all fans will go to Supporting Heroes, a non-profit service which provides for families of emergency responders in Kentucky and Indiana who are killed in the line of duty.
To receive the free ticket and purchase discounted family tickets, please bring a valid ID card to the Louisville Slugger Field Box office. Free and discounted tickets can not be redeemed through Ticketmaster.
If Louisville wins the West Division, they will travel to the South Division winner for games one and two (Sept. 9-10) and will host games three through five (if necessary) of the first round. Game three at Louisville Slugger Field will be Friday, September 11 at 7:05 p.m. If necessary, games four and five will be Saturday, September 12 at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday, September 13 at 5:05 p.m.
Game three on September 11 will feature post-game fireworks and $2 Michelob Craft Beer Happy Hour with live music from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on the Overlook Deck.
Game four on Saturday, September 12 (if necessary) will feature a 2009 West Division Champions T-Shirt giveaway to the first 2,000 adults in attendance.
If the Bats win their first round games, they will host the winner of the North Division/Wild Card series in the opening two games on September 15-16 and travel to the North/Wild Card series winner for games three through five on September 17, 18 & 19 (as necessary).
