This hip new hangout, headed by Michael Paley of Proof on Main, is located in an actual former garage restored to its full vintage glory — except that pizza and beer are served there now. The gourmet pizzas are fired in an 850-degree oven to ensure perfectly charred crust. Other stars on this regularly-changing menu are freshly shucked oysters and country ham sampler plates.
Leave your calorie counters at the door. Generous slices of pie topped with ice cream, as well as whole pies are offered at all nine locations. The pie selection includes fruit pies, meringue cream pies and specialties like the best-seller, Dutch apple with caramel. Five of the area locations include a deli with sandwiches, soups, and salads.
A sleek locale and new interpretations of classic Italian are highlights of this chain. It also boasts an extensive martini menu of candy-colored drinks with names like All That Razz and Jolly Rancher.
