Originally touted as a bed-and-breakfast, there is still no bed component to Gralehaus. There is, however, a German-inspired brunch menu and some of the most unforgettable espresso in town. Gralehaus (part of the ever-expanding Holy Grale compound) has Kentucky's first modular espresso machine, the Modbar. We could explain why the Modbar makes great espresso, but you coffee snobs already know, and the rest of you should go experience this wonderful invention to truly understand. Two ways to enjoy the espresso at Gralehaus: in the peanut butter and jelly con panna (double shot of espresso topped with peanut butter whipped cream and house jam) and in the affogato (soft serve ice cream topped with a double shot).
