This hip new hangout, headed by Michael Paley of Proof on Main, is located in an actual former garage restored to its full vintage glory — except that pizza and beer are served there now. The gourmet pizzas are fired in an 850-degree oven to ensure perfectly charred crust. Other stars on this regularly-changing menu are freshly shucked oysters and country ham sampler plates.
Tucked away in the Felice Winery complex, this cafe and coffee bar serves breakfast, lunch and take-home meals, including soups, salads, specialty sandwiches and paninis, pasta and Italian-style thin-crust pizza. Enjoy wine and cheese (or your meal) on the grapevine patio.
Food Network fans will recognize this natural and organic bakery from the show The Best Thing I Ever Ate, where their flourless chocolate cake was featured. Other sugar buzz-inducing goodies include cookies, pastries, and cupcakes.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert are served at the latest restaurant opened by Canadian chocolatier Ghyslain Maurais. The menu has a European flair with dishes like the Pan Bagna Nicois sandwich and Greek quiche. For breakfast, there’s a full selection of French pastries. And of course you can’t forget the chocolates.
