As I posted in my After Party preview article, according to a press release from The Breeders' Cup, people who attended the official after party of the Breeders' Cup at Prime Lounge would have the "opportunity to mingle with jockeys, sports and entertainment personalities and other out of town guests." Unfortunately on Friday night, the clock was approaching midnight and I had seen none of that.

Zenyatta dropped back to her normal spot at the back of the pack. She fired nearing the far turn, but came up a nose short in a thrilling photo finish before a roaring crowd of over 72,000 under the famed Twin Spires.
