Originally born in Louisville, but growing up in nearby Madison, Indiana, Davidson has a relatively new infatuation with performing and composing music. Now 24, she first discovered her love affair with music as a 17 year-old high school senior when she wrote her class graduation song after only having played the guitar for just over three months.

Mississippi singer and songwriter Charlie Mars is coming to Zanzabar next Wednesday, June 2, supporting his new release, Like a Bird, Like a Plane. Although this is technically his fifth album, it has the feel of a reboot. His first three were independent releases; he then signed with the major label V2 (before it folded) for his fourth, self-titled release.
