What would a world-class weekend in Louisville be without world-class art? Conceptual artist Dennis Shaffner, along with painter and jewelry designer Marissa Garcia, headline the second annual Frenzy at the Finish on Sunday. We caught up with Shaffner to talk about his creations, crafting for peace, birds, and John and Yoko.
Dennis Shaffner has a lot in common with birds—that is, he is very much at home when it comes to nests.

The Highlands-Douglass Art Show is coming on Saturday, June 12th!
The Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association is sponsoring their neighborhood art show and they are looking for local artists to fill the bill! Applications are now being accepted for the fourth-annual fair and must be turned in by May 15th for consideration.

Starting out doing Sirius Satellite Radio with Howard Stern and ending up doing art shows, Pat Gallagher has found his home and his passion in Louisville.
