A quick glance around HullabaLOU Friday yielded fewer concert t-shirts than Forecastle, but on the bright side, we got some sage advice from Fred Schneider.
"And please don't take handfuls of diet pills." That's what I heard Fred Schneider of The B-52s tell the crowd before he briefly left the
stage while Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson took over vocals duties on their hit
Roam. I have no context to out that quote in, but it sure sounds like...

The B-52's will be making everyone get down on HullabaLOU's opening day.
The B-52's are best known for their hit single “Love Shack,” so much so that I’d be hard pressed to find many people, who aren’t music enthusiasts, to name more of their songs. This year’s HullabaLOU Festival has brought the B-52's so you have a chance to actually hear part of their catalog.

Woodstock was “three days of peace and music.” Forecastle was “three days of music, art and activism.” Now there’s HullabaLOU, which is three days of everything else—and something you can take your Mom and Dad to, too.
