You name it! Silvester wins the Zoo's baby giraffe naming contest. There's still time to see him during The World's Largest Halloween Party (Oct. 18-21 and 25-28, 5-8:30 pm).

It's time to pick out a baby name... go vote at the zoo.
Louisville Zoo staff have chosen three potential names for a female baby giraffe born earlier this Summer. Zoo visitors will have through October 31, 2011 to vote for their favorite name via a kiosk on the Zoo’s front plaza. Votes can be placed by making a contribution of coins or bills...

Its been three months since the new baby giraffe arrived at the Louisville Zoo. Officials are now asking for your help in giving him a name!
From now until April 25th at 5 p.m., people can submit their suggestions for naming the baby boy giraffe, born January 11, 2010. The winner will receive $500 Fly Bucks from Frontier Airlines, $50 Calistoga gift card, giraffe plush from the gift shop and a behind-the-scenes tour of the giraffe...
