HullabaLOU announces new artists: Quantity trumps quality again

New acts like Tonic; Ben Folds; and Blood, Sweat and Tears do nothing to shake up festival's staid lineup.

Not to beat a Barbaro (too soon?), but HullabaLOU's announcement today of artists added to its lineup--including Tonic; Ben Folds; and Blood, Sweat & Tears--does nothing to address earlier criticism that the music festival is stale and safe.

When I first heard that Churchill Downs was hosting HullabaLOU Music Festival July 23-25, my immediate reaction was to contact the folks I went to Bonnaroo with this year and see if they wanted to go.Then I read the festival's lineup.
