Mock Duck at Vietnam Kitchen [Food & Dining]

Fake duck meat, avocado milkshakes, coconut milk and black eyed pea pudding.

When my Vegan friend Emily offered to take a few girls out to dinner with her tax refund, I silently hoped I would not have to eat tofu, but was psyched to spend a few hours with my friends. When Vietnam Kitchen (at 5339 Mitscher Ave) was chosen as our destination du jour, I was eager to try some new food and consented to try a vegetarian option on the (quite extensive) menu--mock duck. To my surprise it, along with the rest of our meal, was AMAZING.

BUSTA Dog was busting some moves to 107.7 WSFR, well that is to say his brats, bison dogs and other delicious "dogs" were moving as people lined up to sample Busta Dogs covered in onions, peppers, potatoes or anything on his list. Brewing up discontent in Old Louisville

You don't like burnt coffee?

"But we burnt it just for you!" This an exclaimation from yet another local and dissatisfied customer of the Old Louisville Coffee Shop.

I have lived in Old Lou for a while now, and have yet to meet anyone who truly appreciates the shop for anything other than the compulsory dose that they require in the morning, or free internet.

When I first arrived in the nighborhood, I was relieved to see the cute, little independent store just around the corner. I am addicted to coffee. Now I turn my head in shame.
