Soulful New Jersey bar band plays a spirited set that deserved to go on much longer than its 40-minute HullabaLOU limit.

Forecastle ended with the joyful spectacle of a Flaming Lips show that featured songs of peace and love, grizzlies, balloons, and dancing girls. What more could you want?
Planted amongst the crush of photographers' by the stage and fearing electrocution as my feet tangled among the coiled cables, every now and then Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips would pop out to check the mikes and oversee the stage logistics, which is something I usually don't see performers do...
