How Churchill Downs Entertainment could have made HullabaLOU work [Music]

Someone who's never planned an event larger than a cocktail party gives advice on how to host a music festival that makes a profit (or at least loses less than $5 million)

Dave Matthews Band is awesome...enough said.

What to do when heading to HullabaLOU [Music]

Woodstock was “three days of peace and music.” Forecastle was “three days of music, art and activism.” Now there’s HullabaLOU, which is three days of everything else—and something you can take your Mom and Dad to, too.

Who would’ve thought Louisville would turn out to be a music festival Mecca? First there was Forecastle; now there’s HullabaLOU, a brand-new music festival to be held at Churchill Downs this weekend, July 23–25. With musical acts ranging from Al Green to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes to the B-52s to Bon Jovi and the Dave Matthews Band, there truly is something for everybody.
