The Durham Bulls blasted the Louisville Bats on Saturday night to force a decisive fifth game in their playoff series.
Durham bombed Louisville starter Ben Jukich for an 8-1 win in the Governors’ Cup semifinals at Durham Bulls Athletic Park to even the best-of-five series at 2-all and force a win-or-go-home game at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.

Todd Frazier’s two-run home run propelled the Louisville Bats within one game of the Governors’ Cup Championship series.
Frazier’s one-out blast in the top of the seventh inning gave the Bats a 2-1 win over the host Durham Bulls on Friday night at Durham Bulls Athletic Park to give Louisville a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five International League semifinals.

Five Durham pitchers limited Louisville to four hits as the Bulls evened their playoff series with the Bats on Thursday night.
Sparked by that pitching, and some early offense, Durham denied Louisville a 2-0 lead in the Governors’ Cup playoffs by beating the Bats 6-2 at Louisville Slugger Field to knot the series at 1-all.

The Bats beat the Indianapolis Indians 6-3 on Labor Day, the final day of the International League regular season, at Louisville Slugger Field. Louisville’s victory, coupled with Columbus’ 5-2 loss to Toledo, gave the Bats their third straight IL West title.

The Louisville Bats' hopes for a third straight division title will come down to the final game of the regular season.
Louisville lost 5-3 to Indianapolis on Sunday night at Louisville Slugger Field, while Toledo clobbered Columbus 9-1. The Clippers (79-64) lead the Bats (78-64) by a half-game in the International League West heading to Monday - the final day of the regular season.

The Bats blew an early 4-1 lead as host Indianapolis rallied for a 7-5 win at Victory Field.
The loss dropped Louisville (77-62) 1 1/2 games behind Columbus (79-61), an 8-0 winner over Toledo, in the International League West with only four games remaining in the regular season.
