Calling magical people to the St Patrick's Day Parade [Holidays]

Thanks to Ethridge Enterprises, LLC, I am performing in the St. Patrick's Day parade this year, and I'm honored to have some of Louisville's best artistic talent on my team. The parade is March 12 and looks like it may be bigger than last year's, which had 120 floats and about 30,000 people in attendance. It begins at Broadway on Baxter Ave at 3 p.m. and continues down Baxter Ave towards Mid-City mall. It runs until about 5 p.m.

Vaudeville and Vixens Part 3: The Pole

Jeanette "Soulfire Bay" Martinez did an amazing contortionism routine on a pole in the Va Va Vintage show at Art Sanctuary and Alley Theater. The history of the pole dance is a long and winding one.

Pole dancing has spent some time being thought of as degrading, but it has been becoming more and more accepted as housewives rave about the empowerment found in strip aerobics and other more exotic forms of exercise.  The history of the pole dance is centuries old. It is often associated with the strip tease, which has a history that goes back even further.

Howl at the moon kicks off contest and locals night with Divinity Rose [Downtown]

Divinity Rose invades Howl at the Moon on 4th St Live to host  "You can't do that on piano!", where guests are encouraged to try to stump the pianists. Winner gets a grand prize worth over $300 and the Va Va Vixens burlesque troop is making a guest appearance with kissing booth. Locals are celebrated with free appetizer buffet and half price drinks.
Tonight is my premiere at Howl at the Moon, and I am super excited. I am joining forces with Howl at the Moon to celebrate locals with half price drinks, a free appetizer buffet, and a contest. It is great to see a venue on 4th Street Live! making the effort to connect with locals, and they are really pulling out the stops! I am honored to be the local representative and emcee the high energy show. It certainly didn’t hurt my ego that the tickets say “critically acclaimed performance artist, Divinity Rose”.
