Bark in the Park: A celebration of all things canine [Charitable Event]

Join with friends, family, and animal lovers of every variety at Seneca Park for this year's Bark in the Park to benefit the Animal Care Society.

Benefiting the Animal Care Society, Bark in the Park will welcome dogs, their owners and all lovers of animals to Seneca Park on Saturday, September 17th from 9am to 3pm. From the 8th Annual Woof Walk to the conests, raffles and demonstrations, there will be something to entertain everyone, even those of the feline persuasion.

Through February, No Kill Louisville is running 28 Days of Spay, a free spaying and neutering program for qualifying Louisville residents, and a pet food bank.

It is inspiring to see a no-kill shelter for obvious reasons.

There is an organization who is fighting to turn Louisville into a "no kill" zone for animals.

I am generally not a "pet activist", but something special happened to our family last weekend.
