86°F9:40 PM The 2012 West Region Champion Louisville Cardinals will host a "Final Four" community celebration on Tuesday. The celebration will be held at 5:30 pm on Fourth Street Live!, this is a free event and open to the public.
Join Head Coach Rick Pitino and the players, as we celebrate their Big East Championship (seen below) and Final Four appearance. Fans are encouraged to wear red and black, to show their support for the team.

Spring in Louisville means Derby is right around the corner, unless you are a student or alum of Spalding University; then it means The Rat Race is near. Forty years ago, Sister Julia Clare Fontaine heard students talking about the "rat race" of finals week. As a means to alleviate the stress of the closing Spring semester at Spalding, Sister Julia Clare immediately took to the track - a very small track, that is.
Grammy winner Miranda Lambert played the KFC Yum! Center this past Saturday to a sold-out crowd following UofL’s big win over Florida, sending them to the Final Four. To say the fans were rowdy from the get go would be an understatement: "C-A-R-D-S" chants were heard throughout openers Jerrod Niemann and Chris Young’s sets and the crowd exploded when Miranda took the stage.
The 2012 Festival, which will be from July 13-15 will includes group as Flying Lotus, Jeff the Brotherhood and Zion I on Friday 13th; favorites as My Morning Jacket, Dr. Dog, Wye Oak and King’s Daughter and Sons on the 14th and groups: Walk the Moon, A-Trak, Orchestre Poly- Rythmo, Rachel Grimes and Lydia Burrell closing out the Festival on Sunday the 15th
