After our infamously mild winter, it's hard to believe that a season change is almost upon us, but it's true: spring is just around the corner! Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest has planned a host of fascinating programs for families and children to celebrate this time of year and the re-blooming of Louisville's glorious landscape.

Spring has sprung and it is time to revel in the beauty of our state. Take pleasure among the rolling hills and immaculate landscaping of indigenous flora and fauna of Bernheim. Located in Claremont, KY, just south of Louisville down I-65, Bernheim is the perfect day-escape with the family. As always, admission is free, but cars must pay a $5 environmental impact fee for crossing the gate. Check out the listing of events in early April (just around the corner) below.
Be active (or passive) outside in Louisville this weekend
Take advantage of what's supposed to be great weather this weekend by heading outdoors for sports, music and drinking. (And don't forget about the the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and Visual Arts Festival too.)
