Monster Truck Jam at Broadbent Arena was a hit with fans on January 27. The show wouldn't be complete without some sort of destruction, and the show didn't disappoint.
If one of your New Year's resolutions was to get more involved in your community and have some fun at the same time, you are in luck! There are a couple of great activities that are about to get underway where you can meet people and make new friends. If you are new to the area, or just looking for new activities, here are some offerings:

Mike has lived in Charlotte for years, even used own a couple of restaurants.
According to a press release issued yesterday, ticket sales begin today. Entertainment-seekers have their first chance to purchase tickets for Louisville’s new highly-anticipated winter attraction. Snow Ball Park, the ultimate destination for cold-weather fun, opens at Cardinal Stadium at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Nov. 25.
As a mother of four, who stays at home to raise them, I know what it’s like to want to connect with other people like me. Over the last few years I’ve done some asking around, internet searches, and checking into clubs and playgroups in our area. The Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce (along with several corporate sponsors) presents the 2011 KidsFEST this Saturday, March 12. From 10 a.m.–3 p.m., be a kid again as you wander, play and learn from more than 70 booths with activities geared toward the youngins.
