When 500,000 or so people convene in one place for an enormous event, there are plenty of different viewing persepctives. But seeing that Thunder is a waterfront event, there are certain "floating" options that perhaps you didn't think were available.

With lingering questions about the state of the economy, an event like Thunder Over Louisville can play a big part in making things feel normal.
It's been 18 years since the first Thunder lit up the sky over Louisville to open the Kentucky Derby Festival.  In those years, the show has gone through changes, improvements, sponsorship issues, location changes, and all the challenges you'd expect an event of this magnitude would face.
