The rock t-shirts were out in full force (without Cult Jam) Sunday afternoon at Forecastle Festival.

Dar Williams may only have performed eleven songs in her hour set on Sunday at Forecastle Festival 2010, but her stories and conversation gave the already vivid songs even more life.
The two massive disco balls which hung over the stage were so not Dar Williams. In place presumably for Sunday night's Flaming Lips grand finale to Forecastle Festival 2010, they just wouldn't work for Williams. (By the way, 90% of the disco balls in the US are made here in Louisville).

Forecastle's Speakeasy Cinema was silent every time I tried to visit. Better luck next year?
In the spirit of sampling the art and activism as well as awesome music, I’ve ducked into Forecastle’s "Speakeasy Cinema" twice this weekend. I actually wanted to see the Flaming Lips documentary before they go onstage Sunday night.
