Sometimes I find Italian food a little too heavy for the warmer months—we are weeks from bikini season and my midsection is still as doughy as a half cooked cinnamon roll. Volare, on Frankfort Avenue, has clearly anticipated this need for lighter springier fare, as they have introduced some new menu items specifically for the season. Of course, Volare will still be serving the Prime Italian food it always does (including the best darn pasta in town) with a side of panache.
