68°F1:09 PM The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival Car Show will be held on Sunday, September 18 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the 10000 block of Taylorsville Road. Registration is from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The show is a public exhibition that showcases local custom, classic, and exotic cars. Spectators vote for the "Best of Show" awards given to the top three law enforcement vehicles and top three overall cars, and this event is charity focused.
The Gaslight Festival Balloon Glow will be held on Friday, September 16 from 7:00 (dusk) - 10:00 p.m. at Skyview Park, 2700 Watterson Trail.
Many people turn out for this event to watch the hot air balloons illuminate and glimmer together. The event, sponsored by Park Community Federal Credit Union, also includes live music, festival food, and children's activities.

The 2011 Gaslight Festival Arts & Crafts Extravaganza will be held from Friday, September 16 - Sunday, September 18.
The Gaslight Festival Parade, sponsored by River City Bank, will be held on Thursday, September 15 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. starting at the Jeffersontown Shopping Center on Taylorsville Road to Watterson Trail. The Jeffersontown 13U All Stars are the 2011 Parade Grand Marshalls.
This annual parade features a combination of over 100 marching bands, antique cars, equestrian units, and proud Jeffersontown residents, and thousands of spectators.
Sponsored by the City of Jeffersontown, the Gaslight Business Appreciation Day provides lunch and live entertainment for all of the local businesses and employees of Jeffersontown.
This event will be held at Skyview Park on Watterson Trail from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14.

The 2011 Gaslight Golf Scramble will be held tomorrow, Monday, September 12 at Charlie Vettiner Golf Course, 10207 Mary Dell Lane. Registration begins at 11:30 a .m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
This event, established in 2007, is a 95 mile ride with four stops. The ride begins and ends at the American Legion G.I. Joe Post 244 at 3408 College Drive. Registration is from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and the entry fee is $25 and one toiletry or canned good item per person/passenger.
You can pre-register for $15 (includes route map and one door prize chance) or $25 (includes route map, Official Thunder Rally T-Shirt, Meal, and one door prize chance. After the rally, there will be a dinner, door prize drawing, and live music featuring The Black Mudd Band.
