The Carnegie Center’s Taste of Art and History’s annual fundraising event was spectacular, with over 300 in attendance, and it was a wonderful evening for a drive from Kentucky to Indiana.
Jonathan Swanz, a New Albany High School graduate, is now one of the leading glass artists in the region. He specializes in decorative art, complex functional sculpture, and architectural glass.
KEEPING IT WEIRD
When most people out of state think about international conferences held in Louisville, they picture the Farm Machinery Show. If they're thinking hard, they might conjure an image of Something With Horses. What they don't picture is the international Glass Art Society conference.
Ok, so it's not officially summertime, but the sun has certainly been shining more often. Not exactly like it does in Kingston, Jamaica, but we can certainly pretend.
