During next week's F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop (Feb. 26), Kaviar Forge & Gallery (1718 Frankfort Ave.) will kick off an event called "Light a Candle for Haiti." Owner and master blacksmith Craig Kaviar, who had participated in another benefit for the earthquake-ravaged nation, decided his gallery could do something, too.
O'Shea's Traditional Irish Pub raised more than $10,000 for the American Red Cross to help victims of the earthquake in Haiti on Monday night. But it's not the only Louisville business raising money for that cause.

This Friday night, Jan. 22nd, from 6-9 p.m., the Monkey Wrench (1025 Barret Ave.) will host a benefit for Haiti at its Rooftop Island in the Highlands.
A portion of the sales from the evening will be sent to help relief efforts in Haiti after it was left devastated from last week’s 7.0 earthquake. Direct donations will also be taken at the door as every little bit counts and helps this demolished nation.
