The music of DBT will be in Louisville on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Headliners Music Hall http://headlinerslouisville.com.
With a new album that dropped exactly 10 days ago, Kathleen Edwards is on the road in America, playing to pay the bills, much like she did after high school in lieu of college. For some time, Kathleen’s career was pre-determined, being the daughter of a Canadian diplomat, but she had other plans. Edwards’ classical musical training allowed the opportunity to play new and innovative music that included violin.
An old school City of Louisville bus parked just outside Headliners, complete with cushy interior and red lights. Talk about a bus ready for a party. The party inside Headliners began as seemingly unfamiliar group of guys gathered with the idea of playing a few classic truck drivin’ songs. What came to be was more than expected. From all walks of life, genres of musical interest, and cultures; each musician brought their “A” game.
Pink Droyd takes Pink Floyd to a level of appreciation for the Floyd fan. The eloquent and precise music unique to Floyd is not easily replicated, yet with a combined 30 years of Floyd experience, the members of Droyd deliver a performance that rivals that of the musical geniuses of Pink Floyd. Pink Droid plays across the nation, yet hails from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The performance will include lighting techniques one maybe remembers from a Floyd show back when listening to Floyd was synonymous with illegal substances.
Originally from Louisville, Craig Pfunder and Mark Palgry were able to reunite with their roots when they played Headliners Friday night. To start the homecoming, OK DeeJays filled the house with a super cool mix while people gathered, had a drink, and got situated for The Photographic. Round about 11pm, VHS or BETA gave the crows what they came to see-a fantastic show with great sounds and stunning lights.

Tonight, the lovely ladies of burlesque will stake the stage at Headliners for the first of five shows; 11/26, 12/2, 12/3, 12/9, and 12/10.
For those awakening from their post black Friday shopping nap, the party will be at Headliners tonight with VHS or BETA. A Louisville original, the two founding members will play a showstopper tonight while on tour in support of their newest album, Diamonds and Death.
