Last night I had the privilege of being invited to a private beer event at Rocky's Sub Pub in Jeffersonville, Indiana. I was there with other local, knowledgeable beer folks (who knew I was considered part of that group huh?) to play with and give them feedback on a new beer application they are beta testing and planning to roll out later this month. If you follow me on Twitter then you already saw some sneak peek screen shots I took last evening.
One of the best haunts in Louisvillle or surrounding areas is about an hour away in Seymour, Indiana. Fear Fair is run by the local Jaycees, and it's no wonder that there was an hour and a half long wait outside the haunt. With a staff of about 75 actors, this house tops anything I've been to in Louisville. I can't believe they kept the ticket prices at just $15 compared to the charges for much shorter less impressive haunts in the area.
Frank Zoeller Jr. might just be the most affable man ever to join the PGA. A polar opposite to the fastidious upper class golfer stereotype, Zoeller acts more as an “everyman” on the course than a professional athlete. Indeed, his light-hearted play makes his nickname “Fuzzy” all the more apt.
Whistling down PGA greens all over the world and tossing signed golf balls to kids the New Albany native has made a name for himself for his talent but also for a personality which seems to hinge around a love for the game of golf.
