The University of Louisville men's basketball team has taken a double hit.
Friday UofL announced that neither former Memphis guard Roburt Sallie nor 2010 signee Justin Coleman will be eligible to play for the Cardinals in the 2010-11 season.
According to the announcement Sallie, who had signed a financial aid agreement with UofL in June, won't play "due to the timing requirements of meeting the matriculation deadline for graduate school."

We already knew the opponent and the date, but now we know the time of the first game for the University of Louisville men's basketball team in the new KFC Yum! Center.
The Cardinals will take on Butler, last season's NCAA runner-up, at 8 p.m. Nov. 16 on ESPN as part of "College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon."
UofL-Butler will be one of 20 games broadcast on ESPN and its family of networks over a period of 25 1/2 hours.

Even though he's losing his top three scorers from this past season's team University of Louisville coach Rick Pitino isn't looking to the 2010-11 campaign as a rebuilding one.
But he's not looking at it as one in which the Cardinals will reload either.
Instead, he's looking at next season as a "rebranding." That despite the fact that UofL unexpectedly lost last season's leading scorer and rebounder (Samardo Samuels) to early entry in the NBA Draft.
