Jim James, of the world famous rock band, My Morning Jacket, has never been shy about his love for his hometown, Louisville, KY. He has also always shown his support of public radio by being a good friend of 91.9 WFPK Louisville. Now he has taken it one step further and will be joining the team at WFPK as a radio host.
My Morning Jacket releases new holiday themed EP today [Music]
My Morning Jacket is ready to usher in the holiday season with a special Christmas-themed iTunes Session EP out today! This comes after a busy year that included tours through the U.S. and Europe, and the release of the bands 6th full-length album, Circuital, which just secured a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album. My Morning Jacket has at least one more surprise up their sleeve before the year is out.

How bout that use of acronyms? So, anyway, an allotment of tickets are being offered to MMJ's email subscribers for today only (Sept 21). Regular ticket sales will be opened to the general public on Friday, September 23.
