The Louisville Bats have released reliever Jon Adkins, who last month became the franchise leader in career save and was leading the team in that category this season.
By Josh Cook Reliever Jon Adkins, who has struggled since his return to the Louisville Bats, has been released by the team. That despite the fact that he leads the team with 10 saves and earlier this month became the franchise's all-time leader in that category.
