Did Karen Sypher's legal team deploy the sophisticated Rolling Stones defense? [News]

Or maybe it was just Whacky Tie Friday at the old courthouse.

An unidentified member of Karen Sypher's defense team wore the Rolling Stones tongue-and-lips necktie (far right) to the federal courthouse on the day the woman who's had 19 nervous breakdowns—many of them televised—was sentenced to 87 months in the pokey. While much of Second City's It Takes a Ville! show at Actors Theatre's (316 W. Main St.) is already written, some of the performance is apparently improv, based on suggestions from the audience.

Here then are some of Louisville's best news stories from the past two years you should consider asking the "world's premier comedy theatre and school of improvisation" to tackle:

Rosa Parks, 9/11 and 15 seconds on the floor of Porcini's: The best and worst of the Karen Sypher-Rick Pitino affair [News]

Heard any good jokes about or stories about these two Louisvillians and their swinging gang of sordid friends recently? We have...

Like Brown and Forman, Hillerich and Bradsby, and Jerry Abramson and Cordish Companies, Karen Sypher and Rick Pitino are a Louisville duo slated for the ages.

Got a good joke (and unless you're a University of Louisville fan, you probably do)? Post it in the comments.
