Ben Jukich and the Louisville Bats manhandled the Toledo Mud Hens on Wednesday night.
Jukich threw seven solid innings, while the Bats pounded out 11 hits to beat host Toledo 8-3 at Fifth Third Field.
The victory kept Louisville (77-61) a half-game behind Columbus (78-61), which beat Indianapolis 4-1 Wednesday, in the International League West with five games remaining in the regular season.

Aroldis Chapman got the Louisville Bats off to a blazing start Thursday night.
The highly-touted left-handed pitching prospect threw four pitches over 100 miles per hour in the first inning - including a 103-mph strikeout - and baffled the Gwinnett Braves for five innings as Louisville cruised to a 6-0 win.
Chapman yielded only three hits, while walking one and striking out seven as he improved to 5-2 in nine starts.

Sam LeCure scattered eight hits and struck out eight over seven innings to lead the Louisville Bats to a 5-0 win over at Rochester on Monday night.
LeCure (4-2) also walked only one as he helped the Bats (15-23) salvage a split in their four-game series with the Red Wings (15-23) at Frontier Field.
Enerio Del Rosario and Jon Adkins pitched the eighth and nine innings, respectively, to preserve Louisville's second shutout of the season.

Luis Terrero is tearing up Triple-A pitching.
The recent Louisville Bats newcomer went 5-for-5 with five RBIs Tuesday night to lead them to an 11-0 win over the Buffalo Bisons at Louisville Slugger Field.
It was the fifth straight victory for Louisville (13-19).
Terrero began the season with the Bats, but played only two games before heading to the Carolina Mudcats - the Cincinnati Reds' Double-A affiliate.

Newcomer Luis Terrero's three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning propelled the Louisville Bats to their fourth straight win Monday night.
The blast helped Louisville rally for a 7-6 victory over the Buffalo Bisons at Louisville Slugger Field.
