Right on the heels of Thunder Over Louisville, the Kentucky Derby Festival (KDF) has officially launched its new smartphone app for the 2011 festival.

Right on the heels of Thunder Over Louisville, the Kentucky Derby Festival (KDF) has officially launched its new smartphone app for the 2011 festival. Derby Festival fans with a SmartPhone can download the new 2011 Derby Festival App from the iTunes Store or Droid Marketplace.

Chef Michael Paley brings the grub to NuLu [NuLu]

Chef Michael Paley, known in Louisville for his hand in Proof on Main, will be opening a casual neighborhood restaurant in the NuLu neighborhood.

  The NuLu neighborhood is known as a trendy part of town marked with boutiques and upscale restaurants, a strong ‘green’ movement, and being, well, new.  After all, NuLu means New Louisville. As the area continues to blossom, even in these winter months, new ventures are embracing the old Louisville with some help from a known face.
