The Snow Flow festival will offer workshops in several "flow" performance arts such as fire spinning, contact juggling, belly dance, and hooping on February 5 at the American Turner's gym.

Traditional arts were sadly underrepresented at this year's Forecastle Festival, but they did a bang-up job with a great selection of performance art.
I already expressed my disappointment over the activism component of Forecastle. After all, if you’re going to bill activism as one of the tenants of your festival, it should be an integral component instead of a theme for the commercial vendors.
