NEW ALBANY
Several weeping cherry trees have bloomed in front of the Peterson-Dumesnil House (301 S. Peterson Ave.) in Crescent Hill. I'm not typically into this sort of thing, but the explosion of pink flowers is a beautiful sign of spring. (Can't believe I just typed that.) The wind will likely blow all of the petals to the ground by the end of the day, so you'd better get over there while you still can. This morning, it was as if it was raining flowers.
